Every once in a while, the DM throws an encounter at you with flair, with gravitas, with beautiful tie-ins to the story of the campaign.
And sometimes the DM just finds something that hopefully will give the players a bit more experience points and hopefully prove to be a fun encounter.
You get to decide which one resulted in this mess.
Having captured Keritou Cliff-Jumper, one of the few mortals who escaped Athreos and never returned, the group sets up camp for the night and prepares for the last leg of their journey towards the titan. With suspicions running high on whether or not Keritou will keep his word to return to Athreos after the group aids him in rescuing his granddaughter, the group keeps careful watch on their new companion... which leaves them somewhat unprepared when they suddenly encounter a group of were-lions! Will Aslan be able to put these monsters to rest? Will Keritou betray the group? And could anything else go wrong as the group fights these things? Find out on this episode of Dice Sesh!

With the group still recovering from the shock that Torous is vulnerable to the whispers of Mogis while traversing Phoberos, the group pushes onward, discovering minotaur tracks - tracks that lead them towards Aarakos, the champion of Mogis. Having set the stage in order to confront Eva, the group has little choice but to face the monster responsible for the slaughter of Fury Squadron, especially once he seals off their escape routes.
